On 26 September 2025, a regular meeting of the Scientific Advisory Council at the Supreme Court took place in the format of a working group.
The event was attended by judges of the Supreme Court and leading legal scholars, who discussed important issues related to the unification of approaches to:

In particular, the discussion focused on developing Recommendations on the preparation of requests by Supreme Court judges and the formulation of opinions by members of the Scientific Advisory Council at the Supreme Court. The document will establish unified approaches to the structure of requests and opinions, the organisation of document flow and archiving of materials, and will also provide for a clear and transparent procedure for interaction between judges and the academic community of the Scientific Advisory Council at the Supreme Court.
The exchange of views between judges and scholars demonstrated the interest of all parties in improving the efficiency of the Council’s work and increasing its practical value for the administration of justice.

The introduction of these unified approaches will make cooperation between judges and scholars more systematic, transparent and effective, while judicial decisions will become more understandable not only to the professional legal community but also to society as a whole.
