SC President Met with the ECHR President and the CoE Commissioner for Human Rights

While visiting Strasbourg (France), the President of the Supreme Court Valentyna Danishevska met with the President of the European Court of Human Rights Linos-Alexandre Sicilianos.

Valentyna Danishevska informed him about the activity of the SC, as well as told about important judgments adopted during the institution’s activity, and invited the ECHR President to visit the institution chaired by her.

While her visit to Strasbourg, the SC President has also met with the Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights Dunja Mijatović. At this meeting the parties discussed issues regarding the judicial reform and the independence of judges.
