Vice President of the Supreme Court Oleksandr Mamalui awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen of Kharkiv Region"

As a mark of exceptional respect for their public and political activities, and for their significant personal contribution to the development of the region in the social, economic, and cultural spheres, to the protection of human life, to the strengthening of Ukrainian statehood, and to enhancing the standing of the Kharkiv region at the national and international levels, seven servicemen were awarded the title “Honorary Citizen of Kharkiv Region”.

Among them is the Vice President of the Supreme Court, Major of the Reserve Oleksandr Mamalui. Oleksandr Oleksiiovych was awarded this title as a serviceman for his merits in the defence of Kharkiv region in 2022, upon the submission of his military unit and supported by his fellow soldiers.

The corresponding decision was adopted during an extraordinary session of the Kharkiv Region Council on December 24, 2025.

This honorary title is a symbol of trust, respect, and a meaningful contribution to the life of Kharkiv region and the whole of Ukraine.
