Supreme Court Judge Yurii Chumak participates in a judicial exchange programme of the Network of the Presidents of the Supreme Judicial Courts of the EU

Judge of the Supreme Court at the Commercial Cassation Court Yurii Chumak took part in an internship within the framework of the judicial exchange programme implemented by the Network of the Presidents of the Supreme Judicial Courts of the European Union.

Yurii Chumak was selected to participate in this programme among judges of the highest judicial instances of European countries. The internship was organised by the Supreme Court of Justice of Austria, which hosted the Supreme Court judge as part of the exchange of experience between the Network's member courts.

During the internship, the judge got acquainted with the organisation of the work of the Supreme Court of Justice of Austria, the peculiarities of the court procedure, approaches to case management and ensuring the efficiency of court proceedings. He also met with representatives of the Austrian judiciary and discussed the independence of judges and the implementation of European standards of justice.

Participation in this programme was an important step in strengthening the international professional dialogue of the Supreme Court, facilitating the exchange of experience and dissemination of the best European practices in the field of justice.
