Supreme Court judges visit the International Labour Organization Office in Ukraine and meet with international experts on international labour law standards

Recently, Judge-Speaker of the Grand Chamber of the Supreme Court Olha Stupak and Supreme Court Judge of the Administrative Cassation Court Serhii Ukhanenko paid a working visit to the International Labour Organization Office in Ukraine.

The Supreme Court judges, who are also certified trainers in the application of international labour standards in judicial practice, met with Mr Emmanuel Julien, ILO Deputy Regional Director, during his visit to Ukraine, and with Mr Lejo Sibbel, Senior Specialist on Social Dialogue, Labour Legislation and International Labour Standards at the ILO Office for Central and Eastern European Countries. The meeting was also attended by Ms Aida Lindmeier, Director of the ILO Office in Ukraine.

The judges of the Supreme Court and the representatives of the International Labour Organization discussed prospects for judicial training in the field of international labour law application and the need for the continued integration of international labour standards into national judicial practice and law enforcement.
