Representatives of the Supreme Court paid a working visit to the Court of Cassation of Türkiye

The purpose of the visit was to strengthen bilateral relations between the highest judicial institutions of Ukraine and Türkiye, expand cooperation, and exchange professional experience.

The Ukrainian delegation included the President of the Supreme Court, Stanislav Kravchenko; Judge of the Grand Chamber of the Supreme Court, Oleksandr Banasko; Judge of the Supreme Court at the Administrative Cassation Court, Semen Stetsenko; Judge of the Supreme Court at the Commercial Cassation Court, Volodymyr Pohrebniak; Judge of the Supreme Court at the Criminal Cassation Court, Oleksandr Yemets; Judge of the Supreme Court at the Civil Cassation Court, Andrii Zaitsev; President of the Kherson Court of Appeal, Oleksandr Korovaiko; and Chief Specialist of the Division for International Cooperation of the Supreme Court, Artem Nikolaienko.

During the meeting with the President of the Court of Cassation of Türkiye, Ömer Kerkez, the parties exchanged experience and discussed the specifics of the functioning of the judicial systems of both countries. Stanislav Kravchenko informed his colleagues about the state of the Ukrainian judicial system during wartime, its main achievements, and the key challenges it faces.

In addition, the visit included meetings of the Ukrainian delegation with the President of the 3rd Civil Chamber of the Court of Cassation of Türkiye and the judges of this Chamber, as well as with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Türkiye, Naryman Dzhelialov.
