25 september 2024, 14:20

The President of the Supreme Court Stanislav Kravchenko took part in a special plenary session of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine during which the newly appointed CCU Judge took the oath of office.

The decision to appoint Alla Oliinyk as a CCU judge was taken by the XX Regular Congress of Judges of Ukraine on 18 September 2024.

Stanislav Kravchenko thanked the judicial community for managing to organise and effectively hold the Congress under extremely difficult conditions, during which the issue of filling the CCU's staff, which is important for the state, was resolved.

'The work of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine is extremely important, especially in the current situation. We understand the problem of staffing courts better than anyone else. Unfortunately, it also exists in the Constitutional Court of Ukraine. However, it is very important that we have demonstrated to the whole world that the judicial system is capable not only of administering justice in these difficult conditions, but also of performing such functions as delegating its representatives to other constitutional bodies,' the President of the Supreme Court said.
