Oleksandr Mamalui has been awarded the title of ‘Honorary Citizen of Kharkiv’ in recognition of his selfless actions in the battles for the liberation of Kharkiv region

At the recommendation of the military command, in recognition of selfless actions in the fierce battles for the liberation of Kharkiv region from Russian invaders in 2022, by the decision of the 29th session of the Kharkiv City Council of the 8th convocation of 19 August 2024, Major in the Reserve, Vice President of the Supreme Court Oleksandr Mamalui was awarded the title of ‘Honorary Citizen of Kharkiv’.

By the same decision of the Kharkiv City Council, the title of ‘Honorary Citizen of Kharkiv’ was awarded to outstanding defenders of Kharkiv region:

- Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General Anatolii Barhylevych;

- Commander of the Missile Forces and Artillery, Major General Andrii Malinovskyi;

- Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine, Brigadier General Oleksandr Pivnenko;

- Chief of the Military Institute of Tank Troops of the National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute», Brigadier General Oleksandr Serpukhov;

- Deputy Commander of the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade named after Kish Ataman Ivan Sirko, Colonel Vitalii Onatskyi.
