President of the Supreme Court took part in solemn events on the occasion of the Day of Ukrainian Statehood and the Day of Baptism of Kyivan Rus-Ukraine

Today, on July 15, 2024, President of the Supreme Court Stanislav Kravchenko joined the prayer event on the occasion of the Day of Ukrainian Statehood and the Day of the Baptism of Kyivan Rus-Ukraine, which was attended by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, as well as Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak, leadership of the Security and Defence Forces, leaders of Ukrainian churches, religious organizations, chaplains and foreign diplomats.

The event took place on the square in front of the Assumption Cathedral on the territory of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra in Kyiv, where a prayer was held for the Victory and just peace for Ukraine, as well as for the protection and blessing of the Ukrainian people and our soldiers.

The Supreme Court President also took part in an event during which the President of Ukraine awarded state decorations to the military and other professions and handed passports to Ukrainians who turned 14, including children of defenders, volunteers and Olympiad winners.

The attendees observed a minute of silence in memory of all those who gave their lives for Ukraine.
