ABOUT THE SUPREME COURT

Employees of the Supreme Court's Staff joined a two-week training programme to strengthen Ukraine's administrative capacity in the process of European integration.
During the training, the participants will get acquainted with the basic principles of EU law and analyse their relationship with Ukrainian legislation, learn about the basic rules of the negotiation process and implementation of EU law, and deepen their knowledge of European economic integration. In addition, the staff of the Supreme Court will be able to assess the balance of power and strategies in the EU, and consider how the decision-making process works in the EU.
These topics will be discussed by leading experts of the EU Pravo-Justice project and other speakers who cooperate with the College of Europe in Natolin.
The first lecture has already been delivered by Jan Tombiński, a Polish diplomat who headed the EU Delegation to Ukraine from 2012 to 2016.
For more information: Natolin4Capacity Building is a highly innovative and targeted educational programme funded by the EU and implemented by the College of Europe in Natolin. It was created to support Ukraine's public administration in implementing comprehensive reforms and the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement (AA).
This initiative is implemented by the College of Europe in Natolin in cooperation with key partners - the Government Office for Coordination of European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service, the High School of Public Governance and the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine.
