The Supreme Court transferred UAH 513 million to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, approximately more than UAH 6 million will be allocated for the reconstruction of Okhmatdyt

From March 2022 to June 2024, judges of the Supreme Court transferred UAH 513 million in judicial remuneration to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Of this amount, more than UAH 53 million was transferred to the special account of the National Bank of Ukraine to raise funds for the needs of the army, as well as to the accounts of military units, charitable foundations and other institutions and organizations for defence purposes in the first half of 2024.

In addition, judges regularly join numerous volunteer initiatives, provide targeted financial support and humanitarian assistance to individual military units and medical institutions.

The employees of the Supreme Court also decided to deduct a portion of the judges' remuneration and salaries of the Supreme Court's staff for July and August to rebuild the National Children's Specialized Hospital “Okhmatdyt”. The estimated amount of charitable assistance will be over UAH 6 million.
