114 judges appointed to local courts

On 8 May 2024, 114 judges of local courts were appointed in accordance with 24 decrees of the President of Ukraine. Specifically, 11 judges were appointed to local administrative courts, 10 to local commercial courts and 93 to local general courts.

In the context of staff shortages, the adoption of such decisions by the President of Ukraine is extremely important for ensuring citizens' right of access to court.

The appointed judges, who have not yet taken the oath of office, will begin to administer justice after taking the oath of office at a solemn ceremony in the presence of the President of Ukraine.
