The judiciary continues to function effectively in the face of unprecedented security threats, developing new case law aimed at ensuring high standards of human rights protection in Ukraine. The judiciary is able to handle today's challenges, in particular, thanks to the reliable support of international partners.

This was stated by the President of the Supreme Court, Stanislav Kravchenko, during a meeting with representatives of international technical assistance projects.

The President of the Supreme Court thanked them for their assistance in organising joint events that became a platform for professional discussions on important issues of the judiciary during the war and post-war reconstruction, for conducting training sessions for judges, and for helping to create and improve IT products for the Supreme Court.

Stanislav Kravchenko also provided information on the key performance indicators of the justice system in 2023, highlighting the problematic issues that need to be resolved as soon as possible.

Participants at the meeting identified and discussed the main areas of cooperation for the near future, including training for judges of all three instances, improving the digitalisation of court workflows, and other areas where expert and technical support from international technical assistance projects could be useful.
