As part of the working visit, Ukraine's representatives to the Consultative Council of European Judges (CCJE) - Judge of the Supreme Court and Chairman of the Committee on Compliance with Ethical Rules, Prevention of Corruption and Conflict of Interest of the Council of Judges of Ukraine Yehor Krasnov and Judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Viktor Horodovenko - visited Strasbourg (France).
Following the plenary session, the CCJE adopted Opinion No. 26 (2023) on the use of the latest digital technologies in judicial proceedings, which will be presented in Ukraine in the near future.
As part of the working visit, members of the Ukrainian delegation also met with Mykola Hnatovskyi, ECHR judge from Ukraine, and discussed current ECHR case law.
They also met with Borys Tarasiuk, Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the Council of Europe. Ukrainian judges informed him about the work of the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court of Ukraine aimed at ensuring the continuous and proper administration of justice in Ukraine under martial law.

The CCJE is an advisory body established by a decision of the CoE Committee of Ministers with the aim of ensuring high quality justice systems, the rule of law, the protection of human rights, a strong and independent judiciary, mutual respect between all branches of government and the strengthening of confidence in the justice system and the role of judges in the member states of the Council of Europe.
