The President of the Supreme Court speaks at the international conference in the European Parliament

At the invitation of Anna Fotyga, Member of the European Parliament, the President of the Supreme Court Stanislav Kravchenko participated in the international conference "Justice and Accountability for Russia's War against Ukraine. Recommendations and the Way Forward" in Brussels, Belgium.

It will soon be two years since the Russian Federation launched a full-scale war of aggression against Ukraine. In order to ensure fair justice for the victims of the war, those responsible for atrocity crimes against Ukrainians must be brought to justice, both through judicial proceedings in Ukraine and through international institutions and mechanisms.

In his address, Stanislav Kravchenko detailed the current state of legal proceedings within the context of the war and conveyed his appreciation to the European Parliament for backing Ukraine.

During his working visit, the President of the Supreme Court also met with MEP Anna Fotyga. Their discussion focused on the challenges facing the Ukrainian judiciary in the context of the war.
