Schedule of interviews of the HQCJ and PCIE with candidates

From 16 February to 17 March 2026, the Public Council of International Experts, together with the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, will hold special joint meetings within the competition for positions at the High Anti-Corruption Court and its Appeals Chamber.

A total of 73 candidates have been admitted to participate in the special joint meetings.

During the meetings, members of the PCIE together with the HQCJ will assess candidates’ compliance with the criteria set out in the Law of Ukraine “On the High Anti-Corruption Court”, in particular:

• integrity and professional ethics;
• lawfulness of the origin of assets;
• consistency between the candidate’s standard of living and declared income;
• consistency of the candidate’s lifestyle with their status;
• availability of the knowledge and practical skills required to consider cases within the jurisdiction of the High Anti-Corruption Court.

Special joint meetings are convened at the initiative of members of the Public Council of International Experts to ensure a thorough review of candidates’ compliance with the requirements established by law.

Decisions on a candidate’s compliance are adopted by a majority of the joint composition of the HQCJ and the PCIE, provided that at least half of the members of the Public Council of International Experts vote in favour. If such a decision is not adopted, the candidate is deemed to have withdrawn from the competition.

Candidates will be informed separately of the date, time and venue of their respective meetings.
