On March 16 the Ethics Council’s session was held, during which the decision on admission of 13 candidates for the position of the member of the High Council of Justice nominated by the congress of representatives of legal higher educational institutions and research institution to the interview was taken. Hence, the following candidates have been admitted to the interview:
1. Tetiana Hryhorivna Popovych;
2. Oleksandr Eduardovych Radutnyi;
3. Oleksii Yuriiovych Lialiuk;
4. Halyna Oleksiyivna Ulianova;
5. Larysa Vasylivna Didenko;
6. Serhii Oleksandrovych Kharytonov;
7. Oleh Viktorovych Rozhnov;
8. Serhii Oleksandrovych Kovalchuk;
9. Nataliia Oleksiyvina Melnychuk;
10. Vasyl Ivanovych Felyk;
11. Ihor Vasylovych Kovbas;
12. Yuliia Vasylivna Tsurkan-Saifulina;
13. Mykola Ivanovych Khavroniuk.
The Ethics Council has also taken a decision on denial in admission to the interview for the position of the HCJ member to Vitalii Valentynovych Vasylyk because of non-compliance of documents submitted by the candidate with requirements of the law, which is confirmed with opinion of the Secretariat of the High Council of Justice No. 6460/0/9-22 as of 28.12.2022.
We would like to remind that the issue on admission or denial in admission of candidates for the position of the member of the High Council of Justice to the interview is decided by the Ethics Council pursuant to provisions of the Law of Ukraine “On the High Council of Justice” and the Ethics Council’s Rules of Procedure.
