The Ethics Council has completed the assessment of the sitting members of the High Council of Justice for compliance with the criteria of professional ethics and integrity

Sitting member of the High Council of Justice Viktor Hryshchuk was found not to meet the criteria of professional ethics and integrity for the position of the member of HCJ. The other three sitting members of the High Council of Justice, Oksana Blazhivska, Vitalii Salikhov and Inna Plakhtii, were recognized by the Ethics Council as meeting the above criteria.

Such decisions were made by the Ethics Council during its session on May 7, 2022. The day before, the Council conducted interviews with four sitting members of the High Council of Justice as part of a one-time assessment of the current composition of the HCJ for compliance with the criterion of professional ethics and integrity.
