The Ethics Council has adopted amendments to its Rules of Procedure due to the martial law and appointed dates of interviews with sitting members of the HCJ

These decisions have been adopted by the Ethics Council today, on April 26, during the session.

Amendments to the Ethics Council’s Rules of Procedure adopted due to the martial law in Ukraine provide for a possibility to fail to comply with separate time limits stipulated earlier. Besides, the Ethics Council has envisioned a possibility to conduct interviews with candidates and sitting members of the High Council of Justice by videoconference with the use of means of electronic communication as decided by the Council.

Moreover, the Ethics Council has appointed interviews with the four sitting members of the HCJ for May 4.
