The Ethics Council has started evaluation of sitting members of the High Council of Justice in terms of their compliance with the professional ethics and integrity criterion

According to provisions of Law of Ukraine No. 1635-IX, the Ethics Council shall conduct one-time evaluation of the HCJ’s sitting members within six months since the date of its establishment. 

The Ethics Council’s Rules of Procedure set out that in any case the Council begins to assess the HCJ’s sitting members not later than 8 February 2022.

Chair of the Ethics Council Lev Kyshakevych has appointed two rapporteurs for evaluation of each sitting member of the HCJ, including one from among Ukrainian members of the Ethics Council and one from among international members of the Ethics Council.
