The Ethics Council has changed the dates of interviews with candidates for the position of a member of HCJ

The decision to change the dates of interviews with candidates for the position of a member of the High Council of Justice was made by the Ethics Council today, January 26, during the meeting.

The day before, the Ethics Council received petitions from candidates for the position of a member of the HCJ to extend their time frame for providing explanations and documents. In addition, the Council needed to conduct additional verification of candidates. Due to these circumstances, the Ethics Council decided to change the dates of interviews with candidates for the position of a member of the High Council of Justice.

We want to remind that 34 candidates for the position of a member of the High Council of justice were admitted to the interview. The last meeting of the Ethics Council was held on January 12, 2022, when the Council members denied one of the candidates admission to the interview.
