On 21 December 2021 the Ethics Council adopted a decision on admission of candidates for the position of the member of the High Council of Justice. In line with Rule 3.9.1 of the Rules of Procedure the Ethics Council is hereby informing candidates admitted to the interview about its intention to assess and determine compliance with the professional ethics and integrity criteria.
Personal notifications about intention to assess and determine compliance with the professional ethics and integrity criteria will be sent out to candidates’ personal email addresses.
The Ethics Council draws attention of candidates admitted to the interview to Rule 3.5.3 of the Rules of Procedure which requires candidates to cooperate with the Ethics Council. In the process of assessment the Ethics Council may take into account denial of a candidate to provide answers to the Ethics Council’s questions and requested materials or failure to provide such answers or materials within the time limit specified by the Ethics Council.
